Where We Work
Based in Camas. One rate across Clark County, no travel surcharge.
We’re headquartered in Camas, which is the east edge of the county. That means our fastest turnaround is on the east side — Camas, Washougal, east Vancouver, and the rural ground north of them — and it means we’re not pricing a long drive into your number the way a contractor coming from the far side of the county has to.
We work the whole county at the same by-the-inch rate. If you’re further out, ask anyway — we’ll tell you honestly whether we’re the right call or whether someone closer makes more sense for you.
Areas We Cover in Detail
Each of these has its own page covering the terrain, access, and tree species we actually deal with there.
Camas
Home turf, and the only stump grinding business headquartered here. Prune Hill slopes, tight gates in the older neighbourhoods near downtown, and the biggest root balls in town out toward Lacamas Lake.
Washougal
Ten minutes up the road. Gorge wind means more of what we grind here is blowdown — tilted stumps with a lifted root plate, which is a different job from a clean cut. Slopes above town, flats down by the river.
East Vancouver
Fisher’s Landing, Cascade Park, Evergreen, Mill Plain. Subdivision access with narrow side yards, irrigation to work around, and ornamental trees from the nineties reaching the age where they come out.
Hockinson & rural east county
Acreage rather than lots. Multi-stump clearing, pasture and fence lines, long gravel driveways, and private septic and well lines that no 811 locate will ever mark for you.

Travel inside the service area is included — no trip fee, and no surcharge for one town over another. Some grinders quote Camas and Washougal higher because it’s a haul for them. We live out here, so it isn’t.
The only travel-related exception is work more than about 45 minutes from Camas, which carries a deposit. That’s well outside everything listed above. Full pricing →
